Description
Bechers brook in the Aintree Grand National is a formidable obstacle with a colourful history.
It is arguably the most famous jump in racing with its steep drop on the landing side.
In my sculpture the strain on every muscle can be seen on the horses faces as they stretch out over the drop.
This is truly the survival of the fittest.
Although Bechers has never been exhibited in a gallery we already have several orders for it but we have kept one for our shop.
